TRAC Program Information
What is TRAC?
Basically, TRAC is an experiential education program. Through the intensity of
the experience, level of personal challenge, and level of accountability, the
program encourages individuals and groups to brainstorm, plan, take risks,
and support one another. Participants are exposed to concepts such as collaboration,
empowerment, trust, cooperation, acceptance, and personal growth.
The
TRAC Program presents unique adventure experiences designed to develop
interpersonal and professional skills used in everyday life. Activities
on the course utilize
a network of ropes, beams, cables, swings, pulleys, and innovative games to
enable participants to visualize strengths and weaknesses. This insight
creates a more
effective way of getting the job done. It also serves as a constructive forum
where communication is enhanced, and participants are able to learn more about
themselves and each other.
The “low” elements of the course are a series of problem solving
exercises that challenge the group to think creatively and cooperatively in order
to complete the activity. The “high” elements of the course promote
positive risk taking and self-esteem through “challenge
by choice”,
while maintaining personal safety.
Why participate in TRAC?
TRAC’S experiences are custom designed to allow participants
to focus on their strengths and weaknesses in order to enhance their
performance. Our adventure based activities allow organizations to
address issues such as team building, communication, problem solving,
decision making, leadership, conflict resolution and many other skills.
It is this programatic flexibility that allows our facilitators to
customize the TRAC experience to suit your needs. Following
the experience, participants are able to transfer their newly discovered
skills to
dramatically
enhance
performance
of
their
